[2010-07-08] For the third time already Janusz Makuch, Director of the Jewish Culture Festival in Krakow awarded persons, thank to whom organization of the Festival has been possible. This year the 'Voice of Joy and Deliverence' Award was conferred to Prof. Władysław Bartoszewski and Prof. Jacek Majchrowski, Mayor of Krakow. In previous years award was given to Minister Bogdan Zdrojewski, Sigmunt Rolat and Tad Taube. Congratulations!

The award was designed by Krakow artist Witold Siemaszkiewicz. It is made of clear mountain crystal and the line from Psalm 118 - Voice of joy and deliverence - is written there in three languages: Polish, English and Hebrew.
